We already have an ePCR. Where does EMSSOAP fit?
Your ePCR stays your record. EMSSOAP handles one part of it, the written narrative, and runs on the tablet you already carry.
It's one of the first questions we get on demo calls, and it's the right one to ask. Your crews already spend a big part of every shift in the ePCR. A narrative tool should fit into that time, not add a second system on top of it.
EMSSOAP handles one part of the chart
Your ePCR stays your record. Times, vitals, medications, procedures, signatures and every other structured field get completed there, the same as today. EMSSOAP handles one part of the report: the written narrative.
That's also why there's nothing to integrate. Your ePCR vendor doesn't have to build anything, and you don't have to change vendors to use it.
The handoff is one copy and paste
When the narrative is ready, you select Copy and paste it into your ePCR's narrative field (narrative documentation). That's the whole handoff. It works with whichever ePCR you use, because the ePCR never has to talk to EMSSOAP.
And with Mini Mode, you don't even have to leave your ePCR screen. EMSSOAP opens in a small window that stays on top of your ePCR, so you can dictate, review and copy without switching back and forth.
It runs on the device you already carry
On a laptop or Toughbook, Mini Mode keeps EMSSOAP floating over your ePCR screen, so crews aren't juggling two browser windows. On a tablet, EMSSOAP runs in the browser it already has. Either way, there's nothing to install. Voice dictation uses the device's microphone, and drafting needs an internet connection (getting started).
Shared tablets, individual logins
The tablet belongs to the truck. The account belongs to the medic. On a shared device, each medic signs in with their own account, so every narrative is tied to the person who wrote it.
Your agency's managers control who has access. They invite new staff, change roles and remove accounts from the Manage page, and medics don't see those settings (organization management). When someone leaves, their access goes with them, and nobody else's login changes.
See it next to your ePCR
On a 30-minute call, we'll run a made-up report in Mini Mode, from dictation to the finished narrative, and answer the questions your crews will ask about fitting it into their ePCR. Book a 30-minute call. After that, your agency can run a free six-week pilot.
Get your narratives right the first time
Turn field dictation into complete, review-ready documentation and catch missing details before the chart is signed.
